what exactly is a lash lift?

Imagine this: you wake up in the morning, groggy, reaching for that snooze button — but you can’t. Why? Because your lashes are straight, stubborn, and begging for 10 minutes of curling, coating, and praying they match on both sides. One wrong move and now your left lash is doing jazz hands while the right one gave up entirely. and you possibly end up breaking your lashes from the manual lash curler.

Enter: the lash lift.

how it works:

A lash lift works by breaking down and reshaping the disulfide bonds in each lash hair using a gentle lifting solution. These bonds are what determine the natural shape and structure of your lashes. Once softened, we carefully mold your lashes into a lifted, curled position on a silicone shield. Then, a setting solution reforms the bonds, locking in the new shape.

Think of it like this: your natural lash is like uncooked spaghetti — stiff, straight, and set in its shape. Once we apply the lifting solution, the lashes soften and become flexible, like cooked spaghetti! This allows us to reshape them into a beautiful upward curl. They’re set in place with the setting solution, and they hold that lifted shape for weeks.

It gives your eyes that fresh, wide-awake look before you've even had your coffee. With a lash lift, you actually can hit snooze and still look like you’ve got your life together.

how often can I get them?

We recommend waiting at least 5 weeks between appointments to allow your lashes to complete a full growth cycle. Over-lifting can lead to dryness or breakage — and we're not about that.

how long is the appointment?

Most lash lifts take about 45 to 60 minutes. You’ll be lying back with your eyes closed the whole time, so it’s basically a mini nap disguised as a beauty treatment. after 45-60 minutes, you’ll enter the world a brand new person.

do i hear an impromptu run to the mall or grocery store to show off your new lashes? 😏

how long does it last?

Lash lifts typically last between 5 to 8 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare. Some lucky clients see results even longer!

do they damage your lashes?

When done properly by a trained professional (like, ahem, us), lash lifts are completely safe. can I wear mascara with a lash lift?

Absolutely! After 24 hours, you can still wear mascara — just avoid waterproof formulas as they can be drying and harder to remove, which could affect your lift’s longevity; and we want to make sure you get the most out of your investment 💸

**what if I want even more drama?**

Add a lash tint! This darkens your lashes from root to tip, making them pop even more, especially if your lashes are naturally light. It’s the perfect pairing with a lash lift for that mascara look.

**who should not get a lash lift?**

if your lashes are extremely short, fragile, or compromised (think breakage or shedding), the results may be minimal — and we’ll always be transparent with you. Regardless, most of our clients benefit from a lash lift despite their natural lash condition due to the usage of gentle lash lift solutions.

what’s the process of a lash lift?

Getting a lash lift is simple and so worth it. Here’s what you can expect step-by-step:

Consultation – We’ll start by discussing your lash goals. Whether you want a soft natural curl or a dramatic lift, we’ll choose the right shield to fit your ideal look.
Prep & Cleanse – Your lashes will be gently cleansed to remove any makeup, oils, or residue. Clean lashes = better results.
Shield Placement – A soft silicone shield is placed on your eyelids just above the lash line. This is what helps mold your lashes into that beautiful lifted shape.
Lash Positioning – Your lashes are carefully brushed upward and secured onto the shield using a gentle water-soluble adhesive. Precision is key here for even, fanned-out lashes.
Lifting Solution – A gentle lifting solution is applied to break down the bonds in the lashes, allowing them to reshape. think: your lashes become malleable and flexible like cooked spaghetti once the lifting solution has taken full effect.
Setting Solution – After a few minutes, the lifting solution is removed with a cotton swab and replaced with the setting lotion that reforms the lashes into their new lifted curl. a deep conditioning keratin & biotin treatment is also added for nourishment and prolonged results.
Tint (Optional but recommended!) – If you want that extra depth and definition, a tint can be added to darken your lashes—perfect for that mascara-free look.
Nourish & Reveal – we soak the lashes with a damp cotton round to loosen & remove the adhesive. the lashes get brushed and blow dried, then finished with a final conditioning serum. and bam! hello, gorgeous lifted lashes!
