exceptional results begin with intentional care.
please follow the steps below to prepare your lashes | brows | skin and preserve your results afterward.
-
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT:
arrive with clean eyes & lashes. If you are wearing eye makeup to your appointment, we will clean the lashes with a gentle foam cleanser.
No waterproof makeup/mascara for at least 3 days before the treatment.
Be sure to shower beforehand as showering is non-advisable for at least 24 hours.
If you wear contact lenses, please remove them before the treatment and wear glasses instead. If you forget, a contact case can be provided for you for only $2.
your eyes will be closed, so put your phone on silent/DND so you can thoroughly enjoy your treatment without any disturbances 🌙
AFTERCARE:
Avoid touching the lashes, makeup & skincare products, water, steam/sauna, heat from the oven/stove/coffee, sleeping on face/side-sleeping for 24 hours.
Use your aftercare serum. Aftercare serum conditions and nourishes the lashes, thus prolonging your results. Apply your aftercare serum on cleansed lashes twice a day: once in the morning and once at night.
LOOKING TO STRENGTHEN & PROMOTE LASH GROWTH WHILST PROLONGING YOUR LIFT/TINT? Purchase the Elleeplex Hyaluronic Acid Boost serum!
Avoid lash growth serums (Latisse, Grande Lash, Revitalash, etc.) for the duration of your lash lift/tint. studio blanc advises against the use of lash growth serums as it can:
increase sensitivities: lash lifts and tints already involve chemical processing near the eye area. adding a growth serum—especially one with active ingredients like prostaglandins—can lead to irritation, redness, or increased sensitivity.
alter your results: lash serums often contain oils or hydrating agents that weaken or disrupt the lift’s curl, especially in the first weeks. we want those lashes lifted, not drooping.
cause premature fading: tint sits on the surface of the lash, and serums (as mentioned before) can contain oils that break down the tint and shorten its duration. we want you to have close to 4 weeks of darkened lashes, not less. so don’t waste your investment!
don’t worry, we get it. if you’re obsessed with your serum, pause usage at least 3 days before your appointment and wait at least 3 weeks after your service to reuse it.
your lashes (and your results) will thank you 🌻
Avoid waterproof mascara. Waterproof mascara is damaging to the natural lashes, causing weakening and breakage of the hair shaft. It also requires an oil makeup remover to remove which is not safe for a lash lift & tint.
Use an oil-free lash cleanser to cleanse the lashes from natural oils/sweat, makeup, sunscreen twice daily: morning & night.
Avoid skincare products & makeup removers containing oils such as micellar water.
Do your best to avoid touching/rubbing the eye area to ensure minimal breakage and lessen premature shedding of the lashes. this will ensure you maintain a healthy lash cycle of up to 8 weeks.
lash lift/lamination:brush lashes daily with a spoolie to keep them lifted and separated
🌙 ongoing care:
cleanse lashes with lash cleanser and a soft brush using gentle circular, up & down motions. be sure to cleanse along the lash line - this is where most makeup/buildup gets trapped.
rinse with water, pat dry, and apply aftercare serum. allow to dry for 1 minute then apply eye makeup (NOT WATERPROOF).
repeat the same for night time routine, excluding makeup.

in skincare, there’s the 80/20 rule that refers to a principle that states 80% of skin improvement comes from daily home care and 20% from professional treatments.
professional treatments provide immediate results, but consistent home care helps to maintain those improvements. a well-nourished skin barrier, achieved through home care, allows for better tolerance and response to professional treatments.
