What is the Dew + Renew facial?

The Dew + Renew facial blends two powerhouse treatments into 1 luxurious session:

Microdermabrasion ✨

A gentle, yet effective physical exfoliation that buffs away dead skin cells, softens fine lines, smooths texture, and fades hyperpigmentation.
Think of it as polishing away all of the things that are dulling your skin.

Hydrofacial 💧

A deep-cleansing, vacuum-powered hydration system that

  1. removes congestion

  2. infuses skin with nourishing serums

  3. instantly plumps the skin

Together, the create the perfect “freshly polished + deeply quenched” complexion:
Instantly smooth, clarified, plump, and dewy.

What are the Benefits?

Instantly Smooths Texture ✨

Microdermabrasion buffs away dead skin buildup, leaving your skin feeling baby-soft and ultra polished.

Deeply Hydrates + Plumps 💧

The hydrofacial delivers targeted serums that deeply hydrate without clogging pores, giving you that instantly dewy, glowy look that everyone wants.

Brightens Dull Skin ✨

Exfoliation and infusion works well together to revive tired-looking complexion and reveal a more luminous, even-toned glow.

Improves Pore Clarity 💧

Hydro-extractions remove congestion, blackheads, and buildup, leaving pores looking tighter and cleaner, and your skin smoother altogether.

Softens Fine Lines ✨

By removing dead skin and infusing hydrating serums, this treatment helps minimize the appearance of fine lines for a smoother finish.

Enhances Product Absorption 💧

Your skincare can penetrate deeper after this treatment, making your products and routine work better, quicker, and efficiently.

Makeup Applies Flawlessly ✨

With fresh, smooth, hydrated skin, your foundation glides on like a dream. No patchiness, no texture ☺️

Best of All: Immediate, Noticeable Results 🖤

You walk out with softer, brighter, refreshed skin with zero downtime.

How to Prepare for Your Appointment

  • Avoid exfoliation for 3-5 days. No scrubs, acids, retinols, or exfoliating brushes.

  • Pause active skincare at least 3 days before such as Retin-A, retinol, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, or acne treatments.

  • Avoid tanning + sun exposure 3 days prior. No tanning beds or prolonged sun exposure.

  • Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water prior to your appointment. Hydrated skin responds better and prolongs your glow.

  • Stop waxing + hair removal 48 hours before. Avoid facial waxing, threading, or depilatory creams.

  • Hold off on injectables at least 2 weeks before. No botox or fillers.

What to do After Your Appointment

  • Avoid touching your face. Your skin is freshly exfoliated - keep it clean and avoid unnecessary contact.

  • No makeup for 24 hours. Let your skin breathe and recover for the best glow.

  • Avoid waxing for 2-3 days. Waxing post-microdermabrasion can irritate the skin.

  • Pause exfoliants and active skincare for 3-5 days such as Retin-A, retinol, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, and acne treatments.

  • Avoid heat and sweating for 24 hours. No saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, etc.

  • Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Use a gentle moisturizer with ceramides and hydrating serums that contain hyaluronic acid to support the fresh skin barrier.

  • Gentle is key 🔑. Use mild cleansers, skip the harsh towels, and avoid picking or scratching.

  • Stay out of the sun. Your skin is more sensitive - avoid direct sun exposure and apply an SPF 30+ daily. Be sure to reapply every 2 hours!

  • Use SPF daily. Prevent premature aging, skin cancer, and sunspots - and protect your new glow and keep your results lasting longer.

Who is This Facial for?

You’ll love and enjoy our Dew + Renew facial if you want to:

  • Minimize texture and refine pores

  • Brighten dull or uneven skin

  • Hydrate without heaviness

  • Improve makeup application

  • Reveal a smooth, glassy glow

  • Refresh your skin before an event

Who Isn’t a Good Candidate for This Facial?

Although I would love to give all of my amazing clients this facial, there are some instances where this facial isn’t suitable for you:

  • Clients with active acne breakouts. Microdermabrasion can irritate inflamed pustules or cystic acne and may spread bacteria

  • Anyone with active cold sores or open lesions. Open skin increases risk of irritation and infection.

  • Clients with rosacea flare-ups or highly reactive skin. The exfoliation and suction can worsen redness and sensitivity.

  • Those using Accutane (Isotretinoin). Because Accutane is so strong and causes intense dryness, sensitivity, and peeling of the skin, microdermabrasion is not recommended.
You must be at least 6 months off before receiving this treatment.

  • Clients who recently had chemical peels or laser resurfacing. Skin must be fully healed before any type of exfoliation - at least 2-4 weeks depending on the severity.

  • Anyone with a sunburn. Exfoliation on compromised skin can further irritation and damage.

  • Clients with active eczema or psoriasis. These conditions need calm, not exfoliation or suction.
Instead, try “The Calm” facial 🍓

  • (With Caution) Pregnant clients with melasma. Microdermabrasion is generally safe, but may temporarily worsen pigmentation in melasma-prone skin. An alternative may be offered 🖤

  • Clients who recently had botox, fillers, or threads. Must wait at least 2 weeks to prevent displacement or irritation.

  • Anyone with broken capillaries or fragile skin. Suction and exfoliation can worsen vascular issues.

  • Clients with uncontrolled diabetes. Slower healing may increase risk of irritation.

  • Those with severe skin sensitivity or allergies to serums. Hydrofacials include serum infusion - check with your skin allergies.

How Often Should You Get This Facial?

For best results, my clients enjoy this treatment every 4 weeks. It’s perfect as a monthly refresh or a pre-event facial for a flawlessly smooth look ✨
